Upon reception, the crabs are checked and sorted into three categories based on vitality:
Category A: Alive, suitable for storage.
Category B: Damaged but otherwise suitable for storage.
Category C: Dead. Destroyed.
The crabs that are suitable for storage are placed in open tanks with recirculating, cooled saltwater.

During storage, the same check and categorization as upon reception are carried out. The crabs are regularly monitored, and those showing signs of weakness placed in quarantine for further follow-up.
To prepare the crabs for shipping, we pack approximately 10 kg per Styrofoam box. Each crab is protected with bubble wrap layers and covered with a damp cloth and cooling elements.
The sealed boxes are clearly labeled with contents, packing date, sender, and booking reference, and picked up by an external transporter for immediate further transportation.
